Wonder Years Montessori School

Our Programs

Two Montessori communities for children from about 18 months to 6 years old, plus enrichment that extends learning beyond the classroom.

Toddlers choosing work from low shelves while teachers kneel at their level
Two children in sun hats on swings in the school playground

Ages: Approximately 1.5–3 years

Toddler Class (Pre-Nursery)

A gentle first step into school, where toddlers learn to do things for themselves in a calm, loving community.

Toddlers are driven to move, explore and copy the adults around them. Our toddler classroom gives that drive a safe, ordered home. Children practise real tasks, such as washing hands and dishes, pouring, dressing and helping prepare snacks, alongside songs, stories and plenty of language in English.

Full-day and half-day options are available.

Casa Class (Children’s House / Kindergarten)

A rich, mixed-age Montessori classroom where children build strong foundations in language, mathematics and the world around them.

In the Casa class, children work through the full Montessori curriculum at their own pace. They might spend the morning building words with the moveable alphabet, counting golden beads, placing flags on the world map or preparing snack for friends. Older children become leaders and helpers; younger ones learn by watching.

Learning beyond the classroom

Enrichment activities complement the Montessori foundation. They give children new ways to explore, build and express what they are learning.

Children using tongs to lift objects from a tub of blue water with toy sea animals

STEM

Hands-on science, technology, engineering and maths challenges that grow from children’s curiosity about how things work.

Children test ideas, solve problems and talk about what they notice, such as using tools to rescue sea animals from a “polluted ocean”.
